1/4 estimate

Default 1/4 estimate

hello once again,

my car is a 87lx 5.0 aod with 140k

last time at the track my best time was a embarrising 15.3@80 sumtin

iam putting in 3.90's

a/c and smog pump elimination and removal

electic fan swap

underdrives

aluminum drive shaft

cobra style intake from explorer

and one of those ram air kits from march performance

can anyone give me a rough estimate on power and 1/4 est

iam hopeing for high 13's low 14's or am i dreaming to much?






i have gt40p heads / e303 and 24# injectors

but thats for another day

you need sticky tires, that is the one mod that will help most.

I mean this in the least disrespective way possible... but #1 if you're only cracking 80's in the 1/4 there's something very wrong and #2 if you learn to drive it properly you should be able to atleast get low 14's with ease.

That being said... get a maf calibrated to your injectors, possibly a bigger egr and throttle body, and with a set of stickies I'd imagine you'd run low 13's once all your components are installed.

Driver mod and drag radials are the best you can do to lower et quick, at least the tire thing, the driver mod may take some time

On stock tires, a 14.5@96. On drag radials, maybe a 14.2@97. Your auto and heads are realllly holding you back. Do you have a shift kit installed? As for hp, I would guess 205rwhp and 265rwtq.

i'd say with tires you driver mod you can hit 12.9 but you gotta drive the hell out of it

I don't think he has the heads and cam on the car yet? A bolt-on AOD Fox will not run 12.9, no matter how you drive it. Even if he had the heads and intake on, I still don't think he'd run any better then a 13.5@103.
