Default Interior Painting ?

I want to paint a few of the plastic pieces in my car. Will regular acrylic enamel be okay to use or should I buy a special plastic paint or primer?

You can have a custom matched interior color mixed for interior use but yoou just have to have something to spray it with. The Duplicolor interior paint is great if you can get the right color. I did the entire interior of my shop truck for less than 50 dollars and it turned out great.

The color I want to use is the plasitkote high heat aluminum paint. I'm just not sure if it will stick good or if I should use a plasticprimer.

GM used a shiny aluminum color in some of the Covettes and Trans-Am's. You can get it by the pint. As long as the part is a hard part I don't see a problem using the high heat paint.

SEM makes a kit, i did mine from red to black, and it looks good....if you treat the interior nicely and not beat the crap out of it it should last
