ya probably just save the dis. for later on down the road if you ever do an engine. But loook at upgrading the cap and roter on yours that will help!
I have the msd 6btm (tuning for boost) and the little bit ive run the car it seems to really light, and help burn everything

For a whole 50 more dollars you can get the 6AL-2 than the 6AL which puts out more power, is physically smaller, has a two step rev limiter and uses dials instead of pills to adjust the rev limiters. I just installed one in mine.

The 6AL is a great box but getting dated. Look into a Digital box with Rev limiter. Despite what other people think distributors like everything else wear out so if you want the most out of your engine it's a worthwhile investment. If you don't care what other people think that are under the hood of your car look into the Summit Brand Ignition Box's, Distributors and Coils. It's all Mallory just a differant color. Petronixs makes them both. You can save some serious cash on that deal. I bought the Mallory because of a ego problem, lol I buy the Summit Stuff that people can't see, lol

It is bad how we ALL seem to buy the more expensive part just for a name
