5.0 mag had a mustang LX running 12.90s with gears sticky tiers cold air intake/MAF. weight reduction mac h pipe and dumps. so who really knows would be nice to see it in person.....

 

i just got the car today gotta pull the drivetrain and see whats actually in it then put it in mine.. and see what it will do

 

and the car was a teal color 1993 mustang 5.0 .. older guy driving it mid 40's early 50's looks stock down to pony rims until you popped the hood

 

that's a long way away from 12.60's

 

i mean its possible dude if they did 12.9's alittle more weight reduction .. maybe this guy have more radical gearing and the right conditions.. but yeah i just got mine yesterday .. when i rip it appart and rebuild we will see how truthful the guy was.. cuz either he lied or he must be John Force lol cause not many people out drive me

 

It was probably one of the myriad of 14/high 13 second mustangs that run through atco.

There is not a single teal mustang that looked stock that has come past me there that ran faster than a high 13.
The only 12 second teal mustang Iv ever seen at atco was one that was noticably not stock. Very noticably.

No i am in Delaware.. the car would have had PA tags on it .. I'm not overly concerned .. i got a 347 kit on the way for it i'm pretty sure i wont have any issues touching 12's with that in it.. the biggest thing i am trying to figure out is what kinda cam i want to put in .. i think i am going to keep the gt40 heads for alittle bit.. till i can save up to get the heads i want i am not going to buy heads i dont really want.. I know cam wise i dont wanna do a alphabet cam they suck imo..

 

The alphabet cams arent all that bad for what they are ment for, but sub par for 347 with decent heads.

 

yeah thats why im going to go with something different.. there wont be anything around me that will be able to touch me.. well except my buddies 512 stroker mustang.. but that isnt running right now
