I want to get rid of my ac. Its really ugly and its in the way. So do I need to buy an eliminator bracket or can I just take it of and run a shorter belt?

ok thats what I assumed but my assumptions are normally way off. How should I measure the size belt I will need?

Thanks for the diagram chaoss, but with those it lok s like I would have to buy an A/C eliminator bracket right?
And im not entirely sure where the air pump is actually. Is that the thing on the passenger side of the engine bay?

An ac eliminator kit, which I got, has brackets that puts the power steering pump where the a/c is. How it should have been if the car came without a/c from factory. Count on the belt being off by a little bit, they usually are. If your lucky the size in that diagram will be right on, but mine was a bit different than the claimed belt size.

Alright cool. Thanks man, do you remember which kit it was? I know its just a bracket so there probably isn't a huge difference between brands. But which one did you get and did it give you too much trouble?
