I have a spare set of 3.73 gears in my garage that i want to install in a mustang that i am currently working on. The gears were installed in an 8.8 rearend previously and still have the shims and bearing on the pinion gear. My question is do these gears have to be set up again or are they ready to go.

 

you will have to set them up again because no 2 housings are exactly the same
