Hey guys trying to buy a set of slicks and i im not for sure what size to buy. Looking for a bias ply close to 255/50/r16s or 17s. Not forsure which one closest to this size, WHat is everyone else running???

slicks dont come in P sizes..

and you should be looking towards drag radials instead. I have EASILY 100rwhp more than you do, and I dont even need slicks

I second this. Not only will DR's be more than enough for your setup, but if youre launching hard enough to justify having slicks, youre gonna start breakin **** on slicks with that setup.

I don't see the big deal. A friend of mine gave me a set of slicks. I mounted them on 10 holes and put them on my wifes mostly stock vert. Big deal. They worked out great and nothing broke.

I just need one close to that size. The reason i want that is really cause the father in laws buying them for our two 5.0s. Were going to run a few passes on them then mount them on some five lugs for hes 68!!! ANd the Drag radials will not hold for the motor thats going in the 68, therefore instead of buying two set we just need one!!!

i run a 26x8.5 but my normal tires are 265-60s

unless you plan on making thousands of HP... drag radials will STILL be fine
