No mustang for a while
Well, im currently inprocessing to my unit at Ft. Carson, was planning on arranging to get the mustang shipped here when i have a guy come up to me and tell me i have some extra paperwork to do. He hands me two packets, both say in bold letters "DEPLOY" on top. My orders were changed and now im attached to the 4-4 infantry. Less than a month and im headed over to afghanistan. Man, straight out of AIT and its hello-goodbye

I was at my unit at carson (4th ID 3rd STB MP PLT) for 6mth's before we got deployed.
what unit and MOS are you in?
dont sweat it bro, hardest part is going to be getting the SGT's to trust you being so new to the unit.

Yea it sucks. I am on my second tour in Iraq and possibly hitting afgan a year after we get back. All I can tell you is get thru the ranks as quick as possible. Being SGT has its perks but yet I still work my *** off for some reason I told myself I would stop when I gpt promoted but I can't lol. Good luck man. Save your money and build that car!
