So my interior in my car wasnt exactly that trashy.. But i removed the front seats to vacuum all the crap underneath the seats.. While i was doing that i took out the center console and there was literally an inch of dust underneath that with a bunch of chip crumbs and corn nuts and stuff.. I was like wtf. Got the vacuum and vacuumed it all out. After that i pulled up half the carpet and discovered a ton of more dust and other stuff along with 2 mickey mouse spoons and some old keys. So i got a brush and loosened up all the dirt and dust and vacuumed it out. While i was at it i removed the back seat and there is a big *** beetle or something chillin like a villin.. I threw it out and discovered a bunch of hidden spider webs and stuff.. Then i look and see a bunch of molded food that looked like it had been in there since the 80's.. Cool. I discovered that nasty scent i smell every time i sit in the car. So i got a bucket of hot water and soap and started scrubbing away for an hour. So the interior is now looking cleaner and it didnt smell like a dead cow anymore. While i already did 3/4 of the interior i might as well do the trunk area.. ripped the carpet out and the board and took out the spare tire and holy ****.. Theres a bee hive in the damn hole with an *** load of dead bees all over the place. removed the hive and vacuumed everything up and scrubbed it all down with hot water and got it to look nice again. Now i just got to paint the spare tire hole.


So what was suppose to be a 20 min job turned into a full complete interior tear down and discovered a bunch of nasty stuff. Never know how bad interiors can be until you get underneath the carpet and seats. =D

Sounds nasty. I put new carpet in mine. When I pulled the seatS, I found a gold ring.

 

I'm glad I pulled the interior out of my car before the drug sniffing dogs got to it. Had about two ounces of weed stuffed behind the rear seat panel. Of course we set fire to it and destroyed it, lol

 

^^ I bet you did . That would have been one hell of a discovery. Whenever I buy used cars that is one of the first things I do in the cleaning up process. Never know what you might find lol.
