I've read that the taurus fan is a good choice for 5.0 Anybody have any input?

I took mine out of a Mercury Cougar and I'm almost certain they are identical since they both use the 3.8.

I had no problem wiring it up, and it covers the whole radiator easily. There is very little clearance with my crank pulley but enough is enough I suppose. I just hard wired it to a switch on the High speed setting of the fan and fused the line. I just turn the fan on once the temp gauge starts to climb. and no, I've never driven around and forgotten to turn it off lol. It keeps my temp pretty low, I'm happy with it so far.

I have a working one sitting around, but just can't justify the associated costs (i.e. relays, and a new alternator). I might just get one of the Procomp ones for $140 and call it a day.
