Will this create a parasitic draw?

Will this create a parasitic draw?
I ordered some new sun visors, and to my dismay they don't have the lights next to the mirrors, and also they have a plastic mirror door rather than cloth flap. But the good news is the mirror is bigger.
I don't mind the tradeoff, I'd rather have more mirror, actually.
The mirror light is activated by a pressure switch, when you open the mirror flap, much like the refrigerator door. Thanks to the wire running through the metal sunvisor swivel, and a plug in connector right inside the headliner, I had to cut the connector off of the mirror side wire. Then I plugged the connector back in for safe keeping in case I ever get another visor with lights, and tucked it up into the headliner.
Does anyone know if this may create a draw? Or does it not have power until the switch is pushed in? LMK.

as long as the positive isnt shorting out to either the body or the other wire you should be fine, as there is no connection and no power flow. if it was me tho id unplug the connectors and put the side that goes from connectors to the mirrors same where safe like your tool box or glove box just in case you need them. that way you dont have to worry about contact, or worse arcing
