Default Clutch Selection!! HELP!

Okay so i have just been informed that my clutch pressure plate feels like that of an f450 tow truck...which apparently is bad...so i guess its time to start looking for a new one...any recommendations on a clutch and the rest of the parts i will need?

centerforce dual friction
/thread

however increased pedal effort shouldnt occure just because your clutch is worn. sounds like you're having other issues...

i used to use Spec clutches but my new tranny is built by D&D Performance and they recommended a Zoom stage 3 for my application. they said Spec clutches are too grabby in regular street driving situations and it puts undue wear on the drive train. so i went with the Zoom this time around, i figured they built the trans so if that's what they recommend i'll give it a try

yea i have heard lots of good things about the centerforce....is there a specific one i should get? also i think i have seen i should get like a steel throwout bearing and not aluminum??? yea about the clutch being hard to press, the tech said it felt like the pressure plate was wearing out and was hard as hell....BUT, the clutch does not slip, i can be going oh say around 30 and throw it in 5th and mash the gas and the rpms dont jump?

most likely the cable is binding, I doubt the pressure plate is the prob, the TOB may be binding on the retainer also
