this thing got smashed in on the driver side fender, it has the other part of the throttle cable going to it, what is it?

and what is this on the rear end? can i take it off, my notch doesnt have a lot of this crap

1st pics is for cruise control servo, or what's left of it

2nd pics The black plastic round ball looking thing is for your heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
The black 1/2 soup can looking thing is for your smog related stuff .

Pics 3 is of your trans being supported by 2 yellow straps lol

Most ppl seem to call it a dog bone, I took my off over 9 yrs ago and I've had no ill effect from removing it.

cool, thanks for the input. and thank you for inspiration to smooth and wire tuck the engine bay, im looking at welders to buy... and i dont know a damn thing about them. can a cheap flux core? welder work, or do i gotta get one with gas MIG?

I started off by borrowing a good friends Lincoln weld pak 100 electric welder and it seem to be OK but then I converted it to a MIG welder and it make all the difference in the world. It was much cleaner.
If you're going to buy a welder just to fill in the holes in the engine bay you'd be better off contacting someone to weld up those holes it would be cheaper than buying a welder.
