possible bad MAF... crap
ok, so ever since 2 tuesdays ago, my car has begun to act up... started when I went out to meet a freind for lunch... car was idling rough...
now the car idles rough 95% of the time, stalls at cold starts, bucks at slower speeds (1st and 2nd gear usually) sometimes if I am going like 30ish in 3rd, or around 40 in 4th, it will buck a bit until I downshift a gear...
Ive done the following
Clean the MAF twice
cleaned the IAC
cleaned out throttlebody
cleaned EGR
replaced EGR position sensor
replaced both oxygen sensors
replaced fuel filter (motorcraft)
changed oil and new motorcraft filter
discovered 2 header bolts are missing (how the hell, I dont know) going to order them tomorrow
have not been able to find any vac. leaks
Ive gotten the following codes
the VSS code, 27 or 29 I forget, 33, 34, 41, 66, 91, 95, 96
I was playing with it today and for the hell of it, unplugged the MAF while it was running, the CEL came on, and the idle got a fraction worse, like it may have dropped 50 rpm if that.... plugged it back in, CEL went away, crappier idle didnt
think my MAF is the culprit?
