Okay. The tires are Kelly Charger HP's......P245/50/16's. They've been on the car for ten years. (Shows how little I drive it now, although it DOES have 172,000 original miles on it and I'm the original owner). Not sure they make them anymore.....they are HARD.....wudn't buy them again. I have been running that size tire on the STOCK wheels since 1993 or so. They look nice and fat and do not stick outside the car. The fronts rub the inner wheelwells at full lock just a bit since I lowered it, but no worries. I may go with a slightly narrower tire up front the next time I buy a set.

Believe it or not I haven't even waxed the car since November of 1999 and that is the original paint.

If my son wants to drive a V8 he can drive MY GT with ME in it!! The goal is for us to finish it up by the time he's 16 with him doing most of the work. There is also the stipulation that he MUST keep his grades up and stay out of trouble.......and I DO NOT BEND. He screws up the car is mine and then yes, a V8 just might find it's way into it. He is an exceptional child and I have NO concerns that he will not meet the criteria......but I am realistic enough to know that children have a tendency to surprise you.

The 3 is a GREAT DD!!! My second favorite car I've ever owned.....the first being my GT of course. I bought the 3 two years ago as a commuter, (70 mile round trip per day), I now have 69,000 trouble free miles on it. GREAT handling, adequate power, (at full rev), looks great and gets 31mpg on the highway. And yes.....I DO kick myself at times for not springing for the Speed3.....but oh well.

Thanks guys!! Believe it or not that GT has been the most dead reliable car I've ever owned!! Still even has the orginal starter and alternator on it....and EVERYTHING still works!
