Default ENGINE WON'T START

I have been trying to start my motor all morning being I did a engine swap.
I have spark and when I disconnect the fuel line it's pouring out fuel and I hear
the fuel pump on. I went and got some stater fluid and the motor starts right up
and I do have fuel in the tank. I do have a fuel pressure gauge but may have to get
one. When I spray the throttle with the starter fluid it stars right up then dies. Can
someone please help me in what to do next it cant be that big. I took no parts off the
motor just unhooked the wiring harness and ignition box and it's working just no fuel and
I just changed the filter....

By the way it's a 4cyl notch that was converted over to a 5.0
It was done when I got it and I put by 347 in it. The inertia switch
is located in the back correct...

I tested the injectors and they have power coming to them...
could the fuel pump be pumping just not enough. I can hear it
loud and clear and it's pumping fuel but won't start...what the hell
I check the relay and it's fine and the inertia switch it has to be a wire
somewhere I guess right...The grounds to good and I grounded the strap
to a bolt on the bell housing could that be it do I need to ground it to the engine
I remember the car running though and the strap wasn't even hooked up....

The noid light isn't coming on. Now where do I start do I need to trace all of the
wires in the harness I tried swapping engine harnesses but the result is the same
I need to get them to pulse..any help would be appreciative being what wire to check.
I went from a manual to a automatic do I need to use the automatic computer with
the C4 or does it matter.....thanks in advance.

you have spark correct? if so I'd go back and check the big connector that controls the wiring harness for the fuel and spark etc. should be on the passenger side i'm sure you've seen it. look in there for any bent pins that could be causing a short to ground or etc. then check continuity between there and the injectors. thats where I'd start.
