needs some help!
got a 89 gt ,302,gt40 heads,perf cam. what suspose to be the gap on new spark plugs.

89 gt, 302,gt40 heads, anybody now what the gap should be? got them at 45 seems rough

I gap mine at .054"

.052 is the stock gap so do that

Is the engine roughness caused by the spark plug gap?

according to chiltons stock gap on a 89 5.0 is .044
89-90 .044
91-93 .054
and i also use autolite -25s
