So, the car is now completly apart and getting ready for paint. Its been a fun project so far

ha wow dude thats crazy! my car has to be repainted already due to bubbles (pissed) so i'm filling the holes in the bay, and building up another block while i'm at it. can't wait!

Keep us posted... so i'm assuming you're painting the entire car inside and out?

amazing how a **** cam and weak springs can make someone completely gut their car

 

i had the whole drive train out, and was looking at rust. THen i decided screw it might as well just paint the whole car! (there was rust on the 1/4'rs, piller, door hinges were rusted through, and the engine bay had some bad stuff)
THe engine actually toasted itself before i took it apart due to a lean condition in a couple of cylindars

holy crap that thing is GUTTED!!

 

yup the WHOLE wiring harness is pulled out of the car, only thing still on it is suspension, vacum lines and heater core.
