Default 1988 thunderbird?

hello,
i know its not a mustang but just checking to see if anyone has seen or hear someone put a x-pipe and flows on a t-bird 1988 with a 5.0? i just bought the car for a hundred bucks its pretty nice and im thinking about fixin it up and givin to the boy... he wants a 5.0 so bad its killin him but when i let him drive mine he cant stay out the gas. plus i dont want him taking his freinds out and killing them in it lol. .but its also speed density, im looking to put the 19lb injectors in it cause i bought 24lb for the stang last month. so will the 19lb injectors work in this car? with speed density? it has the white top injectors in it now. i heard you cant do to much to these cars with the speed density.. if you can let me know if im killing the car by puttin on a x-pipe and the injectors, also let me know what kind of mods i can do to it with out bothering it.
thanks

You can mod speed density cars, there's a whole forum on here for it. An exhaust shouldn't affect your performance in any adverse ways.

It's for your son and he's always on the throttle in your car... let him learn how to drive and prove responsibility before modding his. Don't want to see another statistic.

Just like 5.0 general is a sub forum of 5.0. Speed density is also a sub forum. It's hard to miss. Put gears in the rear end for a wake up call... and that doesn't affect anything except for the speedometer reading, which can be cured with a plastic speedometer gear replacement.
