Is there any reason this will not work?

Default Is there any reason this will not work?

Can I bypass the heater core and remove the egr spacer coolant lines and the coolant hardlines bolted to the lower intake. Run a hose from the water pump line to a T-fitting(cut the one out of the intake hardlines). From there the two lines run to the two intake manifold ports.

Which sensor is in the coolant hardline? Do I need to keep it?

Since the A/C is gone and the heater bypassed can I remove the spherical vac reservoir in the passenger side fenderwell? Is this reservoir only for use of the HVAC? Also remove the other vac lines that run across the firewall and cap the tree.

The sensor in the hard line you absolutely have to keep, that's your ECT. There's a way around it though. On the rear of your engine you'll see some pipe plugs, on the lower intake, pull one out, thread the ECT into that, voila. Just have to lengthen the wiring.

Yes you could remove the hardlines, if you can find a plug big enough for the hole it leaves behind, and then just cap the line at the water pump. And yes, spacer coolant lines can be removed, I would remove the EGR though if I was to do that, the coolant also helps cool the exhaust gas, as well as heats up your air charge.

You can remove almost every vac line if you don't have HVAC or Cruise. Just keep whatever is necessary, such as your brake booster, and cap the rest off.

Cool. So I can just plug the coolant lines in the intake manifold? That doesn't hurt anything?

Can I just take out any cruise control crap without it having an affect on anything besides the ability to use cruise control.

Yep, that's just for the heater core. If you're running EFI you do need the ECT though.
