Electrical questions
First off, bolted to the frame rail, right behind the bumper cover on the driver's side, is a black connector. This connector has a cap on it, just like the EEC scanner connector. It is not related to fog lights, washer fluid, or the horn. It is just capped, and fixed to the frame rail with one of those plastic clips. What is it for//can I remove it.
Second question: The EEC ground is bolted to the engine bay right behind the stock battery location. The small battery ground and EEC ground both tie into one ring terminal and are bolted to the sheet metal. The battery ground got cut off due to the battery being relocated to the rear of the car. There is a plastic connector about 3 inches from where the ground is bolted to the engine bay(in the EEC ground). The connector is a one-in one-out piece with both the in and out wire being a black ground wire. Is there a reason for this stupid plastic connector besides ease of removal of the ground or EEC? I'd like to cut it out of the ground if possible, but I don't know if it serves some other purpose.
Sorry for no pics, I'll post them up tonight when I get home from work.
