Chrome? Ceramic? painted?

What is the best bet? Long or short?

ceramic lasts longer, keeps the rusting down.
chrome is a waste of time.
the paint will burn off or get scrapped off.
ease of install = shorties
more power/faster acelleration = longtubes

+1 on the Ceramic. Stinkin Lincoln summed it up very well.

Does anyone recommend a brand? BBK, Hedder, Pacesetter?

long tube...wish I had spent the extra money on ceramic, 'cause the chrome turned blue within 10 minutes of firing the car up. I prefer BBK but everyone will have a different preferance. I had Mac shorties and hated them. If you ever remove them for anything, the tubes contract and it's a PITA to get 'em bolted back on.
