ok, i have one on my 302, that basically was my only mod and I trapped at 99mph with a 5 speed convertible. I am not really sure what stock mustang 5.0s trap at but i believe it is like 92-95ish. it was a major seat of the pants improvement.

BUT, on a 347 i would say no way. it has a short tube design (godd high end HP little less torque when you need it, and strokers are made for torque. So a long tube intake would be much better.

AND they are a bitch to install. leaks, clearance, bla bla bla. I would never buy it again, but since i own it i actually like it a lot.

lololololol, BTDT. not a good idea. here is your 347 HCI with bbk ssi intake

after a dyno tune, only made ~260ish rwhp on a mustang dyno. needless to say this motor is getting a new HCI since it was pretty mis matched to begin with.

now if you're lookin for an BBK ssi-R intake, thats a good high flowing intake for 347. its a box style intake.

i wouldnt be so concerned about your intake right at the moment. you need to concentrate and a well matched head with a cam that works for your application. after that you need a itnake that matches your RPM range. you need to figure out the other 2 first IMO.
