svo heads?

Default svo heads?

hello to all, the motor i took out of my 91 gt has SVO heads and an e303 cam. are they good heads and is it a good cam? the motor has a 347 stroker kit in it. also the guy told me he runnning 14 degrees of timing, is that to low? and last, what is a arburn positive traction unit. is that a specfic brand?

The heads are good, but not for that particular engine setup.

the cam however....crap. get a larger set of heads and a custom cam, and the car will thank you

hello to all.... i took the whole motor apart and this is what i found. the motor had 4 bent push rods and one of the rokers had some chips on it. should i replace the rocker? also i dont think the motor had a 347 stroker kit in it after all. this looks like a stock pistion. could some one tell me for sure. last one of the valves is beat up.

those look like stock pistons for sure...... as for rockers check and make sure they weren't hitting the valve covers

check the cup where the push rod seats, if it's fine and the oil hole is clear then I'd reuse it

thanks for all the help... i am going to put the heads on my buddies 87 gt. he said he will take them. i am going to get a 347 stroker kit, what are the best heads, intake,and cam to get to maximize the motor. the car is going to be a weekend driver, never going to race it. also i want a cam with a nice lope to it. thanks to all.

that is the classic question of all time..lol, depends on your budget, ??? what are the hp goals/power output???, I could recommend a few options but if it's out of your financial reach
