Exclamation Headlight Options?

I really need to get new headlights. All of them. What are some of the kits you guys put on yours? I just want to get a direct replacement (non of this adding extra bulbs and having to cut into the wires). I know these are not cheap, but I want to spend around $100-150 on the whole set for both. Show me what you guys got and some pictures!

Thanks

when i had my 89 vert, i picked up a set of the smoked lenses from mustangs unlimited. looked very good. perfect install, perfect seals, better fit than stock. only reason i chose mustangs unlimited is because i live 30 minutes from their CT warehouse.

Do you have any pictures of them on your old 89 vert? I really wanted to get smoked out/blackened lights, but really do not want the attention of the law. Here in Michigan it is basically illegal to have on at all times (same with rear black outs).

And when it says *We recommend running a bead of silicone around the perimeter of the lens to ensure a proper seal
what did you do there?

i dont have a pic no, i got rid of the car just days after installing them.

as far as the silicone, if you go with a good brand and not a $50 ebay set, you'll be fine. plus they're 10x easier to open up than the taillights you bought, so if you ever needed to reseal, you could easily.

so just to make sure, even if i go with a good brand name aftermarket headlight kit I still have to use some sort of sealant around the light to prevent any leaking?

i thought they would be already sealed up at the factory. plus most of the lights I see dont come with the weather stripping for the main headlight, is that something I have to also get?

no, all the weather stripping should be there, and you shouldn't need any sealant.
