Default What kinda power shall I expect?

88' Gt stock shortblock, gt40p's, comp xe276hr cam (.544/.544), Edelbrock Performer 289 intake, Holley 650 w/ a 1'' spacer, Duraspark II ignition, 9mm wires, crane coil, BBK Longtubes, shorty o/r H, dumped flows. Lets also assume that the carb will be tuned perfect.

What RWHP you think I will see? Not a clue myself

Jay

oh yea, no A/C or smog

Why do you say that about the cam choice. I was told its a good cam for a gt40p headed build. Would you reccomend something else?

Throw whatever cam you want in.........as for me, I only use custom cams now, I leave that decision up to the cam grinder, I outline to him what I want the car to do/behave like..then he designs something accordingly matched to the rest of my build

I dont wanna throw to much money at this build thats why I am going with an off the shelf cam. This motors only gonna be together for about a year or so.

thats alot of cam for those heads, especially if they are stock.

you will surely need upgraded valve springs
