Default Project Mutt (Pics)

Well here she is, Full frame roller. 89 Notch, at one point in life it was a 4 cyl car. The previous owner had a big block in it with a big shot and the car has been in the 7's. I am going to be running a 421 Small block (thats the plan as of right now) and yes that means its going to have a Chevy motor with a 350 trans. The front is a AJE K member with QA1 coil overs. The rear is 31 spline, 4.10 gears, spool, C clip eliminators, Mini tubs, coil overs, adjustable lowers and uppers.

The pics dont tell the entire truth about how the body really is, it does need some work. No rust though. So soon enough ill be doing body work. First im trying to get this wiring in order. Theres a ton of nitrous wiring that has got to go. The car has 2 fuel pumps so I am going to hook both up and have a back up ready to go at the flick of a switch. Also it had 2 batteries and i dont feel the need for 2. I am going to hide the wiring under the hood as much a possible as well.

I am also going to be putting some smaller tire like a 28X10.5 and get rid of the 29.5's. And patch the rear quarters where they cut a bout 2 inches off the back side so the tires would fit. Lots of work.

Sorry fellas ive been down the built ford route and its just to expensive to get the same power all motor. The 421 im putting in puts down 630 hp. As far as the car, it came from philly.

Maybe true but I want to stay small block to save on weight and makes it easier to work on. This car is going to be a nice peice when im done with it and it will be tagged and able to drive down the street but I am going to be running at my local track on the weekends trying to make some money back and have some fun! Its hard for me to run my Z06 consistent. So im going back to my roots with the good ol mustang.

6 speed on street tires and when bracket racing is all about tenths, hundredths, and thousandths of a second doing it with that car just wont cut it. Furthest ive made it is 3 rounds.
