yes I remember you...........flip the block upside down and no matter how old the 302 block is look in the area where the starter is, there will be numbers

FWIW, the block doesnt dictate whether or not the car is HO or non HO

No its not a roller block if its an 80 block.

Again it still is not a roller block. So yes it uses a hydraulic flat tappet cam. Same block I am working with right now.

why not? is an 86 not 80+?

Yes a 86 block can be included in the 80+ bracket(so your statement is true) BUT an 86 block says E6** on the block.
