Default Any Problems with this Build

I am trying to build up a motor for a friend. I'm new to supercharged motors but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. I will be running a Vortech supercharger putting out 10psi max. The car is an 87 converted to Mass Air and bone stock right now. I will be rebuilding the long block to stock specs which should make the CR 9:1 from what I've read. I would like to run Comp Cams K35-306-8, 284/290* .533/.544". I will upgrade to #42 injectors. I will be running stock heads with bigger springs and the stock intake. MLS head gaskets. BBK shorties and no cats. Will this cam be too big? I am not sure where I could get it tuned around London ON either. Sorry for all the questions TIA

Curtis

Yes you will need a bigger fuel pump. I think that you can go up to .520 before you hav ptv clearance issues but that may be wrong.

Sorry its an 87, the mass air is from an 89. I would like to get an intake but not my car or budget, and at least its easy to swap later. Most of the cams I find on Comps site are .533, .544 lift the smallest dual profile cam I can find is .512/.533. I just noticed the S/C kit came with a pump so ignore the fuel pump comment.

Im not sure what else I can tell you its a small rebuild on a budget so most things are going to be stock. It does have BBK shorties and no cats. Im not sure what else your looking for.

The car is an 87 Cobra GT. Will this be the cobra intake your talking about?
Thanks

There is no such thing as a Cobra GT. There were no Cobras in 87 either.
