i need help. out of all the 5.0's which year would you say is the best one to get and why??

there is no "best"

pre 85-86 was carb (there was a carb 5.0 in 85)
86-88 (except cali 88) was speed density
89-95 was maf
pre 93 had forged pistons
94-95 were about 100lbs heavier than previous years (GT-GT)
opinions differ as to which body is the best style
94-95 had some frame "reinforcements"
everything that was "wrong" with the foxes, was fixed in the SN95


basically, get whatever you like best

89 is the best in my opinion. All the goodies of the foxes plus a tilt wheel, MAF computer, and the 140mph speedo. I use my tilt wheel so much I dont know what I would do without it.

alright thankss im looking towards the 89 cause there seems to be alot more for sale and my frien already has a motor he can help me put in
