Default Lets talk "prop rods",,

Any body got one that works? Mine does,,, cause its a broken shovel handle!

I bought a aftermarket chrome one that doesn't work. Cant close the hood with the rod down. I tried bending on it and had no luck.
And the original one isn't available.

I have a chrome one. I had to modify it. It works fine. You gotta be smarter than the prop rod!!

I had the original OE prop rod and it worked fine for 10 years. Bought a chrome prop rod and it's worked fine for another 10 years.
But probably this winter I'll remove that prop rod and go with what OnyxCobra says he's using.

And now I'm beginning wonder how long I'll go with that.
