OR X-Pipe

OR X-Pipe
Is anyone else running an off road x-pipe with long tubes?
The car sounds great from behind, but from the side it almost sounds like an exhaust leak.
I've gone over the exhaust at least twice and rehung it once. There are no leaks at all.
Is it just the nature of an OR X to sound like this? The reverberation of sound inside the X?
I have a set of cats from my H-pipe that I used with shorties. If I weld these cats in, do you think the car will be a bit quieter from the side?
On a side note...I'm dissapointed with BBK's OR X-pipes. I have heard of people having issues with intake parts... but exhaust parts? The X would not mate with the long tubes(which are also BBK). I had to cut off one of the pipes and reweld it so the X mated with the longtubes properly (it was crooked and hitting the driveshaft prior to this). I'm also pissed at their weld in the actual X part of thepipe. There were pin hole leaks in their welds that I had to close up.
