Default new track times

just got home from the track. what an ordeal that was. the one and only time i get to the track early and every other car spills oil and shuts the track down. after being there 4 hours i only got one run in, but it was the best run to date.

previous best run
60'...1.707
330...4.751
1/8...7.255
MPH...95.17

tonights one and only pass
60'...1.669
330...4.559
1/8...6.950
MPH...102.63

only the second time ive ever cut a 1.6 60', before tonight my best 60' was 1.68x
big jump in the mph mostly thanks to the cool night air id bet. i did add one click to my rear shocks (strange 10 ways). 50/50 was too soft. that was the only change to the car i made during the 8 months or so that i took off from racing. 6.95 in the 1/8th is about a 10.84 in the quarter so im happy with the results. the car is still on low boost due to no time or money for dyno time.

Great times! Just imagine if you had a complete dyno tune and more boost lol.

thats the goal, to have a 9 second street car. considering its running the equivalent of high 10s now at only 7psi, i plan to run 15-20psi when tuned.

its been a while since ive gone down the track, everything seemed to happen so fast lol. i wanted to make more passes but it just wasnt safe. they only ran on lane all night due to the first oil spill. about 2 hours after cleaning up the left lane they sent a red fox body down to test it out. 150 feed out he got side ways and they decided it was still to slick to race on. then after the last oil spill in the right lane, they went through the pits asking people for their track times. they tech took one look at my car, looked at me, and said "not you". he said they are looking for cars that run 10seconds (10 seconds in the 1/8)to make passes down the track to drive over the oil and pick it up. i said f*ck that, im done.

im just amazed at how well my bald et streets are hooking up!

here is the graph for the pass i made.
green-throttle possition
black-rpm
purple-afr
red-boost

made 4psi on the brake with a peak of 7.5psi. got a little excited and shifted into second at 6400 but waited till the usual 6700 for the shift into 3rd. its running a little rich on the brake so thatll need adjustment but afr during the run started at 11.5 and went to 11.7 so thats good to go
