Default Cam decision

I am building a motor and I can't decide which cam do choose I will be using aluminum heads 1.7 rockers trick flow intake and a cam I was going to put a b303 but heard they had a wierd power band so what would be the best cam that sounds awesome and has good power
I will be using my auto trans with a shift kit and it will be for street use but I want to be able to hold my own if someone decides to challenge me

The B303 has a narrow powerband. 3500 to 5500 I believe.
I would look into either t Trick Flow Stage 1 cam or something from CompCams.

I have the b303 in my car, and it definitely sounds pretty sweet . It does have a narrower power band than some cams though. It pulls hard in the higher rpms, but it really hates anything under 2,000 rpm. If you go with a b303, you definitely need 3.55 gears at a minimum. My car lugs out pretty bad under 2k with the stock 3.08s. 3.73 or 4.10s are definitely my next upgrade.
