Does it run ok other wise? Sounds like the idle is just a bit low, and sounds like an exhaust leak like I had on my 1990 5.0 several years ago. Good luck.

The car in the video sounds like that b/c it has a nice healthy cam in it. Does your car have a cam?

an easy test to tell if your missing, let the car idle... then one by one, pop off a spark plug wire at the distributor, listen for a change in idle then plug it back in. if nothing changes when you unplug one of the plugs, then you have a miss in that cylinder. then narrow down if its in the wire or in the sparkplug...

there may be a better method, but I am not sure

Idk if it has a cam or not. I never asked the guy i bought it from. The honda boy suposedly knows the guy i bought it from and he says the engine is compleltely stock. Buttt.. it has a nice little sway when idling and just has a hard lope.

cant you imitate the sound of a lopey cam by unplugging a vacuum line or two? not saying its a smart idea, but my grandpa mentioned guys doing that on their old carbed cars back in the day to make them sound cool on the street
