For those who have removed the k member did you do it as an entire assmebly, springs and all, or did you take the wheels and springs off and drop it that way? Just wondering about not having enough weight on the springs to keep them safely compressed when it comes out.

Took the springs out and then the rest as an assembly.

Alrighty, I have a set of BBK's to install anyway so the springs would come out eventually. Just wanted to make more room in the engine bay when I go to redo the pecker tracks on my "fixed" frame.

i unbolted and seperated my ball joints, removed my springs, and dropped the K with the control arms attached. the struts held the brake assembly in place nicely!
