My friend is offering his that he ran for 3000 miles on his dodge pick up for 500 I thought that was a pretty good deal

yes, because stock 5.0's have a HORRIBLE reputation of blowing out the spark on stock combo's and ABSOLUTELY NEED a race ignition like that.
$500 can almost get you a good set of used heads.

My build won't be stock I'll be running 331 forged eagle crank an rods 8.5:1 pistons s-trim vortech 12lbs boost trick flow heads cobra intake
