Default difference between 86 and the rest???

I cant find the answers to my question through search.

What is the difference between the 86 5.0 and the 87-93 5.0's.

Besides the heads what should i be aware of when shopping for aftermarket parts. everything from the motor and bolt-ons to interior like seats and gauges electronics the whole nine.

fill me in please only reply if you got something to contribute

the 1986 5.0 engine did not have valve reliefs in the pistons, the seats are similar to the rest of the foxbodys, any year up to 04 will bolt in without a hitch.

its a speed density motor, so cam choice will have to be considered. overall the engine was a pig for a 5.0 the dash is completely different from the later years
