Dyno the 306

well went to the dyno... numbers where not soo impressive

i only made 226.7 HP at 4.809 RPM
and a max of 2.71 TRQ at 3300 rpm with open cut outs!

but there is a problem.. the chart was going uphill strong but then went bad at 4.800 rpm and went down... i think there isnt enough timing... ill work the bugs out and go back it should make 260 atleast!

see what i mean where it drops off at soo low of an rpm ??

So you built a motor that's no better then stock.

are you seeing valve float? what was the AFR at? Whats the rest of the set up?

F150 StrokerCobra 01-18-2010 07:20 PM

Gt40 heads
Comp 35-351-8 cams with matching valve springs and retainers locks everything
longtube headers
Edelbrock Air gap intake holley 650 Dp

AdderMk2 01-18-2010 07:23 PM

wow, thats horrible.. i made 30 more HP on my stock untuned 15:1 AFR motor..

F150 StrokerCobra 01-18-2010 07:44 PM

exactly what i mean.. see the chart.. it was going uphill just fine then something went wrong.. where gonna chek the AFR and the timing and do it again...

better view

Valvetrain problems maybe, wrong plug gap, ignition problems, fuel delivery problems....could be a bunch of stuff.
