Question Seats

I was wondering if it is possible or easy to swap my front seats. My driver side seat is broken and reclines back way too much.

I heard it just needs to be welded but was wondering if it can just be switched.

Anyone?

If you want an aftermarket looking seat then there are plenty of companies that sell them.

I had the same issue as you, but it needed welded in 2 spots. It took me a whole 10 minutes to get my drivers side seat out and vacuum the floor...5 minutes to grind away some paint on the seat track and front floor mount... then about 10 minutes of welding. Then a light coat of paint.

Much better than dropping a few hundred bucks on a seat.

Thanks a lot. I'll rip up the carpet and try it that way.

fix the seat and or floor pan, removing upholstry is easy just time consuming if seat back needs welding, hog rings and hog ring pliers will be needed for reassembly
