Thanks.

I didn't have to replace any of the wiring. The front end had been fixed before I got the car and every thing worked but I had to go REDO their body/frame work. Since you don't have a working knowledge of the wiring you need to replace the whole harness.

good **** man. I think the 1,200 mile trip, and all the daily driving is a good cap to this entire build, show's your work is reliable.

Wish mine would stay together for more then 750 miles

Well the car is 19 years old I guess it's time to stop beating on the car?

Stop? ****.....thats why the car has been built! lol The car has been smashed and tweaked multiple times so I am going to hammer on it more and more till it can't take no more! lol It will end up having a road racing cage in it....or at least the start of one....

The next motor to go into this car will be a EFI 351w so its gonna get hit even harder than it does now lol.....

I guess I can't blame it on how hard I beat on the car but it wasn't there until after I got back here.....I didn't beat on it on the trip up but on the way to and from a local club meet I beat the holy hell out of it screwing with oatburner and another local friend of ours.....

Snatching 3rd gear from 5th at 70+mph (4500-5500rpm depending on the cruising speed....5500 is fine bc the motor pulls to 6k) puts alot of strain on the car, more than most of the peoples on here, not because my motor has alot of power because that's not the case, its the fact (at least this its my reasoning) that I run a 3 link suspension instead of the stock 4 link and with that geometry change my springs are not as stiff as they should be. So my car twists and moves around a little more than it should.

IDK just rationalizing why the ripple, tweak, distortion....what ever you want to call it is there.... If I remember I will ****** a couple pics of it later

Well I installed a B cam earlier this summer.....bought some slicks and ran a 13.20 bogging off the line...started building a ram air setup for it....fixed the dented cowl from the hood coming up....had to get new tires.....ummm.......installed 2.5 tips....and the biggest of all....

developed a nice loud knock a couple days ago....thought it was valvetrain at first but everything is tight...its not a wrist pin....so unfortunately it sounds like a rod in the back 4 cylinders is knocking....

Lol yup...well I got about 30,000 miles out of a bottom end I had $175 in.....the damn thing has 2 mismatched rods and pistons in it anyway lol. 6 are HO setup and 2 are from a 70's engine. 2 of the HO stuff was screwed up when I put the motor together... I just bought a crank kit so I can't complain too much...with how much I have been on this damn thing lol

Just hope I didn't trash the crank lol. That would be nice to still be able to use...

COME ON 351w!!!!!....now....whos got some money I can borrow???? lol
