The R will be good, i`m not exactly sure how above the box R and the sissy intake can be compared, but we used and R on my buddies 331, edlbrock heads comp cams works great he is N.A for now but soon to use an adder!

But if you use an intake from the same brand as the heads the ports will almost be dead on sometimes dead on, sometimes useing mixed brands cause some hand adjusting on ports to be needed! His Vic jr and the r series were dead on somehow!

The R and Box R have the same lower intake the only diff is the plenums the box is supposed to be more for nitrous supercharger and turbo oriented!
but i believe either will do nicely!

Edelbrock Vic Jr will do fine. heads are a little on the small side. but then you get into DART territory so...

Vic jr he`s efi believe and the victor 5.0 would be the compared intake to teh vic jr carb, it would be a good complement to the heads i am using the exact intake on my 347! and its cheaper!!!!
