Default spring install question

This past weekend I installed H&R super sport springs (with new poly isolators) as well as maximum motorsport HD rear control arms. Its been 3 days since the install and my question is about the rear springs. My rear seems to be sitting higher then all the pictures of super sport springs ive seen on other mustangs. The pigtails were placed in the right direction for both sides, any particular reason why this might be happening? I drove the car back to school 55 miles with 4 people in it thinking that would help the springs settle but its still sitting a little bit high in the back. Any ideas?

Most likely the isolators imo, but consider the seating height of the spring on the new arms in comparison to the stockers, the tubular arms seat the spring on top while the stockers imbed the spring lower in the unit, so to speak

Shouldn't those arms have adjustable spring perches? They may be set to high.

I know my extreme duty arms have them.

Did you measure the before and after heights?

The extremes are adj, the HDs are just tubes with perches

measuring was one thing i meant to do but totally forgot when we started. I can see what usmc is saying about the perches location being different it does make sense. i like the look of a little bit of rake, just thought the rear end would be sitting lower then were its at. Ill make my way to the parking lot tomorrow and post a picture after classes.

Which way are your tails facing. I know you said they are the right way but I can't remember which is the right way. To the rear will make it sit lower.

Remove the isolators. If the isolator is 1/4" thick, that will raise the car almost 1/2".

The pig tail on the rear springs should both point towards the drivers side of the car.
