Default some updates on projects

just kind of an update.

as for the 91.

-still pluggin away at the prepping the body for paint. i fixed the two parts of the body that had damage. the rear quarter panel near the tail light and the lower quarter panel for the driver side for a little rust damage.

-i bought a c8 306 block with only a few hours of usage on it.
3" cast crank
scat ultra light 5.4" rods
408/418 light weight forged srs pistons

-super victor intake
-4.56 gears
-link bar solid lifters

coming up with my bonus i just got from work i'm buying 190 FAC milled heads + custom cam + 1.6 RR's 7/16 stud mount

there will be more to come from there.

i decided to keep the blue car. going to keep it for a summer fun car for me and the g/f

then last weekend i bought this monster.
1980 k20 pickup truck
39.5" tires (they're worn out as hell.)i'll be buying 39.5 TSL super swamper boggers this spring
355 sbc (head work, cam, intake swap)
410 gears
manual 4 speed
6 inch suspension lift, 3 inch body lift.

im doing body restoration now as we speak. should be a clean ride once i'm done. fun little mudder
i already bought, floor pans, rocker panels(inner and outer), inner fenders, outer fenders, cowl hood, new box.

it fit on my car trailer by about .00000000000000000000000012 of an inch. it was rubbin nubs on the wheel wells of the trailer. this thing is seriously monsterous. i'm 6'1" and the door handle is at the top of my head. if have to step on the tire to look into the truck bed.

i bought it for 700 dollars.

btw, i know the tow straps on the front arent legal to tow a vehicle like that, but my tow chains that i used for the stang when i got the white one werent long enough to wrap around the axle of this truck...thats how huge this thing is. lol!

Those look like the ones you would pick up from walmart for $2 (sarcasm). They can only probably hold like 500lbs each.....
