Default Paint ideas

Ok my paint is the ****s, clear coat is peeling off on the hood and roof, the sides of the car look really good though. I have around 2500-3 grand to spend so not much. I dont know weather to stick with a similar colour like with a lighter silver and have the trim same too. Or go with a whole new colour like black our blue. Problem is though the inside and engine bay will be grey still :s What are your guys's thoughts on silver, i hear its really bad for peeling and fading?

changing color takes a lot more work, and requires a lot more money to do right.... If the shop doesnt remove all molding, doors and such you will be left with different color paint on the outside then on the inside of hte door....
Stick with a similar color, that alows you to leave the engine bay alone right now (while still looking close) and then going back and matching it later on down the road

Not to meniton silver foxes are sexy in my opinion
FYI DONT SKIMP ON PAINT! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

I agree w kweb, if you have 3k for paint right now, I would take $500-600 and paint it yourself... IF you think your capable.

If you think you can pull it off, than the worst that can happen is that you lose your $500 bucks and you can have it repainted anyway. If you save 3k and spend that much it won't be that bad because you'll still have 2,500 left. Its worth it just for the experience. Teach yourself, save money!

To be honest, you could always go with gunmetal...

Hell, i considered it and i actually decided on blue when i dropped the car off. I'm still debating about going gunmetal when i get it repainted after i get everything repaired on mine... still donno, though decision!

And like said, do whatever you want.

At least with your interior being a neutral color (grey) it will match most exterior colors.
Orange makes a bold statement!
