Default rear-end gear question

Im thinking about purchasing 3:73 gears for my mustang. I don't know if having the 3:73 would solve my issue in low end power. I feel like my mustang is really weak when climbing a hill and it slowly climbs the RPM'S when i am just crusing around. I believe i have 3:08's in the rear or something like that, its a 5 speed. I really think the 3:73's would really wake up my car. Let me know
thanks, dave

yeah it has 3:08's And it is a stock engine. I already down shift when climbing a hill. But my engine struggles climbing a hill around 2k RPMS. What I am trying to figure out is if my car will climb that hill easier if I do switch to 3:73's from 3:08's

first you need to make sure there are no engine performance related issues that'd cause lack of power, such as faulty ignition components, fuel system issues, or restricted cats if still on the car

I have ran KOEO and KOER codes and it popped 7 different codes. And no I'm not running cats. Good idea, if i buy a pruis i'll be climbing any hill like a champ with WOT and the pedal stuck to the floor. haha

Yeah electic cars do produce a lot of torque all the time. But that really doesn't answer my question
