I want to do a battery re-locate and was woundering if anyone can please give me a picture of the wire coming of the altinator you need to run to the on/off switch... Also a pic of how you splice into that wire. Do you just cut it at the altinator and run it to the switch or what... Thanks. I know there are threads out there for this but I'm a visual learner lol thanks again

 

I drew this up awhile back from someone else's pic and description. It is supposedly NHRA legal. I still haven't gotten to do mine yet so I don't have pics.

 

Thank you but i'm looking for a pic of the altinator that you run to the back... I don't know which one it is and do you cut it off the plug on the alt and run it back or do you splice into it

 

run 1, 8 gauge wire off the alternator , all the way back to the battery., this way when you hit the kill switch, the alternator dont keep the car running. the pic someone has posted is spot on. its only confusing due to the fact the wires are not colored.

no one nows what wire it is off the alternator.... when we find out what wire it is do i just cut it at the plug and run it to the switch??? or from the starter solenoid???
