great thanks that def helps. when i was double checking under the hood i also noticed what appeered to be a nipple for a vacuum line comming off of my throttle body it did not have a hose or one of the rubber ends on it... it is an aftermarket professional products throttle body, any idea what is supposed to be there? thanks for your help mike

here are pictures of both my t fitting and my throttle body. the only thing that might not be right on the t fitting is the ac being capped? also should i put hose clamps on the caps or are they ok on there own? in the other pic i think you should be able to see 2 capped nipples and one open on the throttle body. thanks again mike

the nipple on the TB is supposed to have a hose running to the oil fill tube (if you have stock valve covers). I guess it's supposed to act as a secondary PCV setup....mine is capped, and I run a crankcase evac setup.

The things on your vacuum tree that are capped is the vacuum supply for your HVAC, the vacuum supply for cruise control, and I can't remember the third. There are embossed letters on it that say what they go to.

Since I bypassed it all, like yours is... I just ran a hose from brake booster to the intake manifold and got rid of that plastic vacuum tree.

the ones on the throttle body is a coolant passage to heat up your throttle body... it is ok for them to be disconnected
