Default UMI lift bars?

Hi guys i'm thinking of trying out the umi rear lower control arm lift bars, was wondering opinions on them or if anyone likes or dislikes?

I have a coil over setup for the rear does it affect anything?

Thx for any input

I just installed a set of UMI lift bars on mine last week. I also went with the adjustable uppers from UMI.

The rear mounting tabs that attach to the rear shock mount can be bolted on or welded on.

I bolted mine on since I don't have a welder at my house and because I was hesitant about welding them in if I didn't like them.

Obviously, I was uncertain about welding them in place since they were noisy, so I called Tech Support at UMI. They were great to deal with and answered all my questions. They guy I spoke with owned a Foxbody himself.

He said welding them in WOULD help with the noise, so I went to a freinds and had them welded.....He was right!!

Since I'm breaking in a new set of 3.55 gears yet, I haven't stomped it yet to see if any results of how well they function. I figure anything has to be better than my 20 year old stock LCA's.

they are great for low hp cars but when you start making real power they suck. the problem is, they are way out dated technology like the ford alphabet cams. look up baseline suspension and never look back. i currently have the umi lift bars on my car and its suffering because of it but at this point im not going to swap them out untill i tune the motor and then see how bad the lift bars are when im making full power
