Last night I went to start my car, fired right up, but the starter kept on turning over. Even after i took the key out it was still turning over, the only thing that i can do to get it to stop is disconect the battery. I have no experience with anything like this, what could be causing this? do i need a new starter? any suggestions?

 

you need a new starter solenoid. It sits right beside the battery with wires running to it.
